 * Hi,
   Since updating there’s slight problem with error handling and how WP mail
   logger verifies mail domains. We got errors if user email domain was misspelt(
   for ex. [example@gmail.con](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/proper-errors-missing-when-sent-email-does-not-exist/example@gmail.con?output_format=md))
   like this:SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: [example@gmail.con](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/proper-errors-missing-when-sent-email-does-not-exist/example@gmail.con?output_format=md)
   We’re using SMTP Mailer by naa986 with WP Mail Logging and the site is running
   php 8.0.I tried also the integrated WP Mail SMTP plugin, but did not get errors
   with not existing emails with it either. Is this a problem with our email server
   provider or what could be the case? We would like to get proper information trough
   if the email is not sent to a proper email.Anyway thank you for a great plugin
   and have a nice day!

 * Thank you for your patience, our developers have confirmed that WP Mail Logging
   will log the error message your SMTP server returns.
 * So what most likely happened is your SMTP plugin “SMTP Mailer by naa986” or your
   SMTP server has stopped returning errors for those kind of email addresses.
 * Therefore, instead of rejecting it, they just accept the SMTP request.
