# Protected post ?

 * I added new products to Shopp and for one of them I get
 * There is no excerpt because this is a protected post.
 * How/Why is this protected ? I don’t see where to turn it off.
 * Even going back in to edit the post – it says published – I picked featured.
 * ???ANy ideas ?

 * Try recreating the product.
 * I have not come across this before. You can protect a WP post on the post edit
   page.
