# Proxy problem?

 * Hi!
 * I have a freshly installed WP-instance (v3.1.1) running under 64-bit XP-Pro which
   I installed using the Bitnami WAMP installer. Installation was a breeze but when
   i log-on to the sample site I get numerous “WP HTTP Error: couldn’t connect to
   host” errors (RSS, Blog and Other WordPress Related widgets). I entered the proxy/
   port combination in the “class-snoopy.php” file but the problem remains. What’s
   wrong?
