# Proxy tracking fix

 * Hi,
    plugin supports proxy tracking but it is broken. If you neeed proxy tracking,
 * 1) you have to activate it in admin
    2) you have to switch to manualy editation
   of code 3) you have to change “matomy.php” and “matomy.js” to “piwik.php”
 * now it should work.

 * Sorry, I missed the tracker proxy thread somehow.
 * If you activate the tracking in WP-Matomo, the proxy script is directly shown
   as one option (Deactivated, Standard, /js/index.php, proxy and manual) and also
   explained in the related help text.
