 * Seems like pseudo classes like :nth-child and :not() are not working when added
   to the custom CSS. Or am I missing something?

 * I can confirm that pseudo classes work. Maybe you need to increase the specificity?
   If you inspect the element in dev tools, is your custom CSS being overridden?
