Publicize Works Erratically

    I’ve been using IFTTT to publicize my posts to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn but recently switched to Jetpack’s Publicize.

    My IFTTT recipes worked flawlessly, but Publicize is erratic. I usually schedule 5 new posts a day to go up a couple of minutes apart. Invariably, 4 of the posts are publicized as desired, but 1 will always go missing, never showing up on FB, Twitter, or LI so that I have to tweet et al manually.

    I’m not talking about the same one being overlooked everyday. These are all new posts and, randomly, one of them ends up not making it through.

    Anyone else have this problem? Know how to fix it?

    Just realized that only 2 out of 5 scheduled announcements ever appear on LinkedIn. That’s even worse than the 4/5 for FB and Twitter.

    That doesn’t matter much though, practically speaking. LI doesn’t seem to bring visitors in the way other social sites do.

    Further investigation shows that for the most part, when I post 5 blog articles, the middle one is always the one that doesn’t get publicized.

    Help? Anyone?

    same problem I have too. my posts are messed up and permalinks are messed up.

    Could you try to reset your Publicize connections, as explained here:
    http://jetpack.me/support/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook
