It’s a myth that Jetpack slows down or your site. Most of Jetpack is designed to speed up your site by taking the load off of your server, like our site accelerator, stats, subscriptions, and related posts, which are all processed on our end (rather than hammering your database). I’m not sure if you know about this, we recently launched Jetpack Boost and Jetpack Backup as a separate plugin. I would recommend you to try Jetpack Boost in order to make the site score much better and if you have any questions related to Boost, you can ask here. 🙂
