 * I have been designing, building and editing a WP site at:
 * now I’m ready to “publish” and the same content should appear under:
 * What is the best way of achieving this? Both sites are hosted by the same company
but (probably) on different servers. Thanks for ideas and suggestions.

 * Thanks,
The doc you have indicated suggest that the DB is moving as well, but,
I want to keep the same DB (I’ve got only this one at [http://www.s297253748.websitehome.co.uk/](http://www.s297253748.websitehome.co.uk/))
basically I’d like to keep everything as it is only that when the correct URL(
   [http://www.whassupdorch.co.uk/](http://www.whassupdorch.co.uk/)) is typed the
site shows as on the development site.

 * The same page has directions for moving wordpress on your own server, basically
   giving a new domain name.

 * Sorry I’m not sure I’m explaining myself correctly:
 * The DB is on server A (dev URL)
The public site is on server B (correct URL)
 * I want B to display the content of DB A. (B has no DB of it’s own).
 * Would a simple DNS pointing do the trick?

 * Thanks. I take it DNS pointing will not solve the issue?

 * Can someone take the time to explain? This is all so complicated. I don’t know
which of the steps is the right one to take.
    Thanks.
