# Pulling specific authors?

 * Hey! I’m creating a homepage and would like to include a “meet the team” section.
   I don’t see any shortcodes that allow me to show author boxes for specific authors
   chosen by me. If I pull the ppma boxes then it only shows the current page’s 
   author.
 * Can I do something like:
    - publishpress_authors_box author=”X”
    - publishpress_authors_box author=”Y”
 * Sorry if this is obvious, I just don’t seem to be able to find how to do it.

 * Sorry, currently it’s not possible, but that is not a bad idea. I have created
   an issue on our GitHub repository so our developer can add that parameter in 
   the future release.

 * Alright, thanks! Pulling specific authors gives me more freedom in terms of how
   to display it, so this would be helpful 🙂

   update from our developer that this feature will be available in the next release.
 * If everything is going smoothly, the next release will be sometime this week.

 * In the latest version, you should be able to pull specific author. Let me know
   if you still have an issue.
