PUT on product/variations does not work

    I am unable to update a product variation, even though I get a 200, nothing changes in the backend.

    wp-json/wc/v3/products/20/variations/21

    {
    "stock_quantity": 7
}

    I can re-create this on a new portal and can give access to this test portal if you can assist me please.

    This works for a product.

    Manage Stock is enabled.
