 * Hey,
 * Ghostery warns me of a tracker cookie named ‘Quantcast’ since I installed this
   plugin.
    Is there a way I can disable quantcast from Jetpack?

 * Quantcast is for tracking stats. You should not disable it.

 * Yeah, tracking stats for advertisers…. I don’t want to expose my visitors to
   tracking for advertising means. Quantcast is not necessary for the workings of
   this plugin beside providing revenue for WordPress/Automattic

 * First, thank you for your feedback. I did research this and I’ve found that we
   do want to keep the Quantcast stat and we don’t support removing it. You can
   also see a related discussion about it in the main WordPress.org forum where
   Matt has commented about this issue: [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpresscom-stats-quantserve-code-in-stats-javascript?replies=18](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpresscom-stats-quantserve-code-in-stats-javascript?replies=18)
