 * Hi,
 * The topic title is actually only part of what I want to do. I apologize if this
   is an obvious question, but I am quite new to WP development. I read the documentation
   but was unable to precisely find the answer to my question.
 * I’m wondering if I can access the username of the currently logged in user for
   the purpose of indexing another DB table. That is, I’d like to use Front End
   Only Users as a login system, but I may need another table or tables that hold
   user data not directly supported by FEOU, and naturally, I’d like to access rows
   in those tables pertaining to the current user. Will this be doable?
 * I’d appreciate any help. Thanks.

 * Hi Nixon,
 * Our plugin only supports a user registration system and login system that redirects
   users to restricted content. If you cannot upload the data that you are trying
   to reach at the moment, by creating custom fields, there is always a way to reach
   the DB. However, since it is not a feature of our plugin, it would require extensive
   coding. We do offer customization services, so if you are interested in it, you
   may e-mail us at [contactetoilewd@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/query-using-current-user/contactetoilewd@gmail.com?output_format=md)
   and we will assist you in that matter.
 * Best regards,

 * Thank you for your response. I have actually looked more into my issue and I
   think I can do what I need to do with FEUP alone after all. Thanks again!
