# query_posts offset

 * is it not possible to state an offset for query_posts?
 * i want to have my first post be styled one way, the second another, and the rest
   a third way.
 * offset was a feature of get_posts, do i need to still use get_posts in order 
   to do this? any ideas?

 * You should use both the Loop1 and Loop2 code posted by Kaf [above](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/28203?replies=16#post-193687).
   
   It works for me!

 * Also note that ‘offset’ now works with query_posts(). It was added a few versions
   of WordPress back.
