 * Hello,
 * I’m trying to set up your awesome plugin with our site. We are using the Benevolence
   WordPress theme and I’m seeing the same issue as the one in the link below:
 * [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/queryphp-error-on-line-28?replies=2](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/queryphp-error-on-line-28?replies=2)
 * I commented out the line you mentioned in that link and once I activated your
   plugin again, our Sermons page was still displaying the query.php error. Deactivating
   your plugin of course puts everything back to normal. Is there any way you can
   assist me with fixing this? Thanks for your time!

 * **@ mikeD19821**
 * So you’re receiving this exact error?
 * `Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in ../wp-includes/
   query.php on line 28`
 * What line exactly did you comment out?
 * The [FAQ on my site for Cherry Framework based sites](http://connections-pro.com/faqs/cherryframework-based-themes/)
   doesn’t say to comment out anything… it gives an example of how the code should
   be written so it does not break WordPress.
 * Is the Benevolence theme a Cherry Framework based theme? If it is, the theme
   dev should update the framework since the Cherry devs fixed this quite a while
   ago. If the theme dev can update the framework they can provide you with an theme
   update which will fix the issue. [Seems there was a recent update to the theme.](https://wplook.com/benevolence-changelog/)
   Are you running the latest version? If not, you should update because they may
   have already fixed this issue in their code.
 * Have you tried contacting [their support](https://wplook.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new)?
   If they are unable or unwilling to help, please open a new support ticket in
   [our support forums](http://connections-pro.com/support/forum/general-support/).
   I’ll be able to better assist you there.
 * Hope this helps!
