 * Hello, I have a quick question about how WP Mail SMTP works.
 * I’m using Ninja Forms to collect contact form submissions from my website, which
   I then forward to ZenDesk through Ninja Forms. Ninja Forms lets me set the From
   Name and From Address to the name and e-mail address that the user put in the
   contact form. That way, it creates a new support ticket in ZenDesk from that
   person and their e-mail address so it’s easy for my staff to reply. Unfortunately,
   about 1/20 of these e-mails don’t make it from the Ninja Form to ZenDesk, so
   I’m looking into WP Mail SMTP to improve delivery.
 * My question is, if I set Force From Email and Force From Name in WP Mail SMTP
   to true, will this override my settings in Ninja Forms and make all of my ZenDesk
   tickets show up as being from my company and my company’s email address instead
   of the customer? If I don’t activate Force From Email and Ninja Forms sets the
   From Address is my customer’s e-mail address instead of what I have listed in
   the SMTP plugin, will the plugin not work?
 * Thanks!
    Natalie

 * Great question.
 * If the “force” options are enabled in the settings, WP Mail SMTP will ignore/
   override any parameters passed by WordPress or other plugins. So, in this case,
   whatever the From Name/Address is in NinjaForms will be ignored.
 * If those options are omitted, any parameters that plugins specify will override
   what you have set in the WP Mail SMTP settings.
 * Hope that makes sense 🙂

 * Hi Jared,
    Thanks so much for the quick reply.
 * That makes sense, and am I correct that omitting the From Address option would
   mean that my Ninja From submissions wouldn’t send through SMTP? (I’m looking
   at the tutorial [here](https://wpforms.com/how-to-securely-send-wordpress-emails-using-gmail-smtp/)
   which says “…the From Emails from anything on your site that sends email must
   match this email address in order for SMTP to work…”). It seems that if I want
   to maintain the customer email address when the form submission is sent to ZenDesk,
   then I won’t be able to use WP Mail SMTP.
