Question about password

    Hello,

    We are going to import many users from csv.

    When doing so, we would like to assign temporary passwords to the newly imported users such as “temp$s”

    In this case, shall we enter the original text like “temp$s”, or some encrypted text like md5?

    @gujingc,

    If you use “Password” column you have to use the text version and if you use the “user_pass” column you should use the MD5 version.
