 * Great plugin, but I’m having an issue with xml/html sitemaps and an e-commerce
   plugin sitemap.
 * My question is, can I use SEOPress for the html sitemap, but _not_ for the xml
sitemap? The problem is that while the native wp sitemap index includes my ecwid
store sitemap, the SEOPress xml sitemap doesn’t include that sitemap. However,
if I have just the SEOPress html sitemap activated (and not the xml sitemap),
then the native wp sitemap is 404.
 * One solution would be to see if the SEOPress xml sitemap could index the third
party sitemap, in which case I would use both SEOPress xml and html sitemaps.

Another solution would be to resolve the conflict between the SEOPress html sitemap
and the native wp sitemap, so that the two could be used together.
 * I’m using LS Cache/Quic, with xml files not cached in LSC plugin. Clearing caches
and permalinks after changes to settings.
 * Am I explaining this conundrum clearly?
 * Thank you in advance for any assistance with this.

 * Hi,
 * yes you can disable XML sitemaps while keeping the HTML sitemap.
 * But, we strongly recommend to avoid this.
 * Why? Because URL marked as noindex will NOT be excluded from the default WP XML
   sitemaps.
 * Same if you apply a custom canonical tag.
 * We also make sure to be compatible with multilingual plugins.
 * If you need to add a third party xml sitemaps URL to the index sitemap, you can
   use this hook: [https://www.seopress.org/support/hooks/add-external-urls-to-xml-index-sitemaps/](https://www.seopress.org/support/hooks/add-external-urls-to-xml-index-sitemaps/)
 * All our XML sitemaps hooks can be found here: [https://www.seopress.org/support/hooks/#topic-77](https://www.seopress.org/support/hooks/#topic-77)

 * This issue is inactive, so we are marking it as resolved. Thank you for your
   understanding.
