 * Great idea for a plugin!
 * Does this plugin run queries to group posts by year when the admin post list 
   page is loading OR does it only run queries to group posts by year after a year
   selection has been made from the drop down select?

 * The plugin doesn’t group posts, but but just **filter **them, after a year selection
   has been made from the dropdown menu.
