# Question & Possible Feature Request

 * I’m very interested in using the plugin but one concern I have is that as the
   administrator on Disqus I get notified of all comments on all articles. So, by
   the sounds of it, if I use this plugin then I will get two notifications on my
   own articles, correct? One from Disqus and one from your implementation?
 * If that is the case, dual notifications, then it would be great to have an option
   to disable notifications from your plugin by author to avoid that.

    Apologies for the delay in answering, I hadn’t
   gotten a notification that there were new forum posts and had not notices.
 * Anyway, yes, godthor you’re correct: if you’re admin on Disqus then you will 
   indeed receive two notifications on your own articles.
 * Thank you for the suggestion. A custom user profile field (checkbox) for optin
   in/out of comment notifications would probably be the best implementation. Do
   you guys agree?

    I’m happy to announce that with version
   1.1 of the plugin it is now possible to opt-out of notifications sent by this
   plugin on a per-user basis: there’s now a checkbox in the user profile for this.

 * Right now it’s not sending out notices. It’s turned on (not off on the profile),
   but nothing is going out.

 * Looks like it’s all set. I think prior I just wasn’t patient enough waiting on
   Disqus to sync back to my blog.
