# Question regarding uploads

 * Dear nK,
 * while checking which settings and which plugins create which images during media
   import, I found out that awb creates additional images in the uploads folders.
 * In an example an image with widht 1400px was imported.
 * with awb:
    test_15-1280×768.jpg test_15-300×180.jpg test_15-500×300.jpg test_15-
   768×461.jpg test_15-800×480.jpg test_15.jpg
 * without awb:
    test_16-300×180.jpg test_16-768×461.jpg test_16.jpg
 * I would like to store as few images as possible.
    Are these additional images
   necessary? Is there a way to disable the creation of these additional images?

 * We created these sizes to better support different screen sizes. As you know,
   images use `srcset` attribute, from which loaded an optimized image, based on
   the screen size.
 * You can use 3rd-party plugins to remove unnecessary image sizes. For example,
