 * Hi, I recently installed this plugin on my websites and noticed one option that
   was available but not selectable was Imagick for the image conversion method.
 * My question is how do you set up this plugin so that it works with Imagick?
 * My other question is what would be the difference and effect if you chose the“
   Pass Thru” image loading mode as opposed to the “via htaccess” default selection?
 * I’m not very technical so could someone break down the answers to somewhat laymen’s
   terms?
 * Thank you

 * Hello [@mgsideg](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mgsideg/),
 * Thanks for your message.
 * To use the Gd or Imagick method, you must have a library installed on the server–
   Gd or Imagick respectively, and this library must support converting to WebP.
 * An alternative is the Remote Server, which gives the best conversion results
   and allows you to convert images also to the AVIF format. For you, this means
   the best image quality and the lowest weighting.
 * As for the method of loading Pass Thru images, it is an alternative to the via.
   htaccess mode. The via .htaccess mode is the best and the fastest, so if it works
   properly for you, don’t change anything. Psas Thru was created for people on
   whose server the rules of the .htaccess file do not work. Don’t worry about it.
 * Best,
    Mateusz
