 * This seems a very good plugin, however I have some simple “yes/no” questions
   before using it.
 * 1) My images jpeg, png webp are already heavily optimized (Losless and lossy
optimization) using several command line tools on my server. Is there a way to
just upload the exact images without Cloudinary processing/optimizing them any
further? I believe that any further optimization will destroy the quality of
   the images.
 * 2)Can I upload to cloudinary just selected images of my wordpress media gallery?
 * 3)Can I upload to cloudinary just selected sizes of my wordpress images?
 * 4)At the latest versions wordpress serves different image sizes depending on
the screen. Can this be handled with Cloudinary?
 * 5)What are the limitations of the free plan and what happens if exceeded?
 * 6)My sites work on https. Is https supported by Cloudinary?
 * Thank you very much, I appreciate your time and effort for this plugin

 * Hi, thank you for reaching out.
 * See answers to your questions below:
 * 1. Of course you can use cloudinary for oure CDN purpose and deliver the images“
as-is”. However we highly recommended using Cloudinary end-to-end, meaning to
upload high-res images to Cloudinary and use our optimization capabilities to
gain the best out of your images. For example, Cloudinary supports browser detection
based format optimization, a feature that requires adding the `f_auto` transformation
to the image URL (The decision is being made on the CDN layer).
    More information
   is available here: [http://support.cloudinary.com/entries/33947321-How-can-I-make-my-images-load-faster-](http://support.cloudinary.com/entries/33947321-How-can-I-make-my-images-load-faster-)
 * 2. From you WP media-library you can select certain images and migrate them solely.
And again, the best practice is to have all images delivered together from the
same origin and using the same CDN.
 * 3. You can select which images you want to be uploaded to Cloudinary. Please
explain further how you want to go about distinguishing based on image size?
 * 4. Cloudinary provides a jQuery based plugin for delivering images with the width
matching the size of the containing element (e.g. div element). If your div tags
are responsive, then different size of image will be delivered for any device
   that views the page.

 * 5. Free plan quotas can be seen on the [pricing page](http://cloudinary.com/pricing).

Here’s some useful information on how we calculate those quotas: [https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/articles/203125631-How-does-Cloudinary-count-the-quotas-and-what-does-every-quota-mean-](https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/articles/203125631-How-does-Cloudinary-count-the-quotas-and-what-does-every-quota-mean-)
And here’s an explanation regarding quota exceeding and how it is handled: [https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/articles/202521702-What-happens-if-I-exceed-plan-limits-](https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/articles/202521702-What-happens-if-I-exceed-plan-limits-)
 * I hope you’ll find this information useful.
 * Best regards,
    Nadav.
