 * I am curious regarding on the Quick Edits why the changing author is not there?
   Any idea on how to enable it?

 * I hate to say it but there isn’t a native option to edit the author. I’ve made
   a note to try to add it on the next release.
 * I think page had the info I need to add the feature;

 * I think I can edit includes/car-demon-create-post-types-tax.php
    and add add_post_type_support(‘
