# Quick Editing Question

 * I’m fairly new to editing WordPress-type files and needed some assitance.
 * I’m trying to update the header found at [http://www.vintage21.com](http://www.vintage21.com)
   and change the wording of the menu buttons at the top of the page. I’m having
   a hard time find the file(s) that I need to edit in order to make this happen.
 * Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

 * 1. Deactivate all plugins
    2. Delete inactive plugins 3. Revert to Twenty Eleven
   theme
 * The above steps may help you remove the errors. If they don’t, try to upgrade
   WordPress to the latest version.

 * There are no errors, I was just wondering where the header.php would be located(
   or if I need to edit a different file then what its name/location might be) in
   order to edit the titles of the buttons in the current header.

 * It could be in multiple places.
    I would check – ‘Dashboard > Appearance > Menus’
   first
 * Then header.php
    That should be located in the theme directory. (/wp-content/
   themes/vintage21/header.php)
