# Quick Install Problem

 * I followed a youtube video on how to set up a website using hostgater and wordpress.
   I installed wordpress through quickinstall, as instructed, it also said to wait
   2-4 hours before accessing the install, I have waited 5 hours, but when I click
   on the link to access the wordpress page it just brings up a blank white page.
   Please help me, is it because I’m in the UK? or is it because my laptop isn’t
   compatible? Please help me 🙁

 * Have contacted your hosting provider about this issue?
 * It possible your installation did not complete.
    Try **MANUALLY** re-uploading
   all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory
   from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies 
   of files & folder before uploading the new ones. Read the [Manual Update ](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update)
   directions first!

 * Also be sure you clear your previous database before you reinstall again.

 * Thanks Tara and Link Design, it was because I am in the UK I had to pay the hosting
   site by paypal instead of credit card and therefore my site had not yet been 
   activated when I tried to access it, because it took a while to confirm the payment,
   but thank you and sorry for wasting your time.
