# Quick Install Question

 * I am about to put jetpack on a live site (been testing it on my localhost); when
   I activate the plugin it asks me to make a wordpress.com account.
 * I need to make a wordpress.com account for **every** single module? On my local
   install I was not asked to connect to a wordpress.com account for every module
   but on the live install I can’t enable any module except the debugger without
   a wordpress.com account.
 * Just want to make sure this is how it is intended to be (need a wordpress.com
   account for everything).

 * Once your Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com, all the modules will be activated.
   You won’t need to make another connection for each new module.
 * On your local environment, you were using [Jetpack’s development mode](http://jetpack.me/2013/03/28/jetpack-dev-mode-release/),
   and could use all modules that didn’t require a WordPress.com connection.
 * I hope this clarifies things a bit.
