# Quick scan on continuous loop

 * Hi,
 * On the wordfence scan page, the scan summary shows a continous loop of quick 
   scans. so when one quick scan finishes another quick scan begins immediately 
   after. This doesn’t seem to stop.
 * Everything is up to date.
    PHP version: 7.0.14

    I notice this case too after upgrading to 6.3.16. After my hosting provider
   block my website (for the first time in 3 years). After unblock my website, the
   quick scans are not running anymore.
 * Today, the wordfence live activity show “idle” status.
    I’m waiting for a feedback
   from my hosting provider.

 * Hi!
    Please try “[Exporting Wordfence Settings](https://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#Exporting_and_Importing_Wordfence_Settings)“,
   then deactivate the plugin with “[Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation](https://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#Delete_Wordfence_tables_and_data_on_deactivation.3F)”
   option enabled, uninstall the plugin, re-install it again and import the settings.
   This should fix the problem if it was related to the plugin’s database tables.
