# quicktag editing problem

 * Since upgrading to **2.5.1**, I can no longer edit the quicktags.js file without
   losing the buttons from the editor altogether. Any change to that file results
   in the loss of all buttons.
 * Am I behind the times on something in WordPress? (Not that it would surprise 
   me… <wink>)

 * I have found the answer!
 * Operator Error
 * In my FTP program, (Filezilla), and I had the ‘Transfer’ option set to ‘Auto’.
   When set to ‘Binary’ the uploaded file worked as designed.
 * Getting old sucks! ( I gotta blame it on something!)
