 * Hi,
   I have recently installed W3 Total Cache and am testing it before I decide
   if I should install it on my production site.Most of the time it seems to work
   quite well, but occasionally I will get random characters (shown in attached
   image [https://imgur.com/a/iH4Rxlv](https://imgur.com/a/iH4Rxlv)) when I load
   the home page. If I “CTRL-F5” in the browser it will fix the issue, but a few
   days later it occurs again.It does not occur all the time, but once every few
   days.I have tried turning minification off, but did not resolve the issue. I
   am running the latest version of wordpress, W3 total cache, etc. I’m not running
   a CDN.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks,Andrew

 * Hello [@snaggers](https://wordpress.org/support/users/snaggers/)
 * Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this. Since it’s
   a random problem it’s hard to replicate and troubleshoot the issue. However,
   Once I visited your website I was able to see what you are referring to.
 * Most likely the issue is with bad content encoding. meaning the gzip compression
   may be causing this as there is potentially some other – double compression enabled
   somewhere else, like some other plugin or server side.
 * Try disabling gzip compression in the Browser Cache settings, save all settings
   and purge the cache and see if the problem persists.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi Marko,
