 * I have created a custom post type called Testimonials. I was looking to see if
   it’s possible to use Insert Pages to randomly pull testimonials into pages i.
   e. rather than having the same testimonial on the same page that if someone visits
   the page again another testimonial would be displayed?

 * Hm, not directly. You could create a page and give it a custom template (which
   you write yourself), and in that custom template do your own WP_Query() to show
   a random Testimonial. Then you can use this plugin to insert that page anywhere.
