# Random Failed emails

 * Last few days I get randomly failing emails on my website but when trying to 
   resend they sometimes do resend and sometimes fail again. This is with using 
   Office365 as mail connection.
 * What is causing this?
 * When Looking at the technical info for failed emails in the log I see 2 different
   errors (on different mails)
 * “code”: 423,
   “message”: “cURL error 56: OpenSSL SSL_read: Connection reset by
   peer, errno 104”,“errors”: [“cURL error 56: OpenSSL SSL_read: Connection reset
   by peer, errno 104”
 * OR
 * “code”: 423,

 * Would you please check if your website have SSL configured? In addition, kindly
   check if your host name has SSL(if you configured it via other SMTP option).

 * Yes, we have a valid Let’s encrypt SSL certificate. This issue was only noticeable
   in the last while.
