# Random image and caption plugin?

 * Hi, Group,
 * I’m searching for a plugin/widget that would display a random image with its 
   associated cation in a theme’s sidebar.
 * I have a small, new blog about shortwave radio listening that is an extension
   of SWLing.com which is a beginner’s guide to shortwave radio listening. I thought
   it’d be cool for people to send in photos of them with their radios. I’d like
   to post the images in the sidebar with a caption below the photo with the person’s
   name and geographic location.
 * I’ve found random image widgets, but none that allow you to associate a caption
   with each unique image.

 * Hi all,
    I could really use the same thing! The random file plugin works well
   for the image, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to use it to get the
   caption from a text file. Any ideas? random file documentation seems to indicate
   it can be used to get the file contents, but all I have been able to do is get
   it to display the file name.
