 * Hi everybody,
 * we are facing problems with our stock quantity. Some of our products change for
   example from 21 to -181 and we have no idea what causes the change of stock level.
 * We tried to find logs of the stock history but couldn’t find any.
 * Is there a way to find out which plugin or api causes the stock changes?
 * Looking forward to support 🙂
 * Thank you in advance!

 * Hello,
 * This sounds like a conflict issue. you can create a staging site using a plugin
   called WP Staging ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/))
   and check what’s causing the issue.
 * You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: [https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/)

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your quick reply. I was wondering if its possible to check what caused
   the last change of stock quantity for a specific product? Because I know some
   specific products whos quantity became chnaged randomly. If its possible to see
   in the code which plugin or api triggered the change that would be most likely
   the root cause for all random changes?
 * Unfortunately I dont have such code skills to identify the problem. Is it possible
   some checks the code for the last trigger if we provide access to our backend?

 * I’m not aware of a way to detect that for a specific product. You may want to
   reach out to a web developer and ask if that’s possible: [https://woocommerce.com/customizations/](https://woocommerce.com/customizations/)

 * hi,
 * sorry if I have to say this, but I have the impression that you are trying very
   hard to close the ticket, but can’t help me in any form. First suggestion was
   a paid plugin which would not help me personally in any form and the second suggestion
   is to hire a developer.
 * By paying Woocommerce every year, do I not also have a right to support? The
   problem I describe is not necessarily caused by another plugin. If it is, I would
   understand your approach and contact the appropriate plugin developer. In the
   first place, however, the stocks are maintained by Woocommerce and I would like
   to know why this is so?
 * Thank you!

 * Hi [@koiandreas](https://wordpress.org/support/users/koiandreas/)
 * I understand your frustration. By running a conflict test, you can find out if
   an issue is coming from a theme/plugin conflict.
 * However, since your issue occurs randomly, you may need to have someone look
   at your website closely – which we cannot offer on this forum as per the forum
   guidelines: [https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff](https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff)

 * If you are using one of our [paid extensions](https://woocommerce.com/products/),
   you have access to our support team at WooCommerce.com. Please contact us at
   [WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support](https://woocommerce.com/my-dashboard/),
   and we’ll be happy to help there.
