Is this thread being monitored at all?
This is similar to something that happened a few months ago. When you delete a team member, it leaves behind an empty shell in both the backend and front end that cannot be removed.
it’s as if you have to replace a team member with another team member or it does not go away.
They have a support forum I would try to reach them at – I just submitted a request for a similar issue.

I’ve tried to replace the missing team member, but it didn’t go away for me. Hoping the plugin devs actually respond back and fix this. Nice plugin otherwise, but I’m not even considering their Pro version until there’s a response from them (and fix).

We’ve been looking for a way to fix this… we even gave it a name: “the ghost member”.
I have good news, I believe we solved this problem! The fix will be implemented in the next release 🙂

I am not sure why this thread is marked as “resolved” as the update has not yet been released and, as such, the problem still persists.

We’re rebuilding our website (http://wpdarko.com), it should be ready in a couple of days (3-4 days). The Team Members plugin is the first plugin we are updating (we are rewriting all the plugins).
I’d say a week, maybe a bit more! Just know that we’re doing our best. We’ll keep you posted.
nb: Only lazy people hates ETA, we find them challenging.
OK, thanks for the update. I’ll just hold off updating anything. I might just delete the whole lot and deactivate the plugin until the update. That way, I’m not adding to my own problem.

Fixed it at the onset…now I have another ghost member. Same as before.
