 * For some reason the slider nor the testimonials page with display in random order(
   it’s always in the same order.) This is true even if I add the random=true short
   code.

 * Hi, you can enable random order from plugin setting. Just please go to wp-admin/
   edit.php?post_type=testimonials-widget&page=testimonialswidget_settings and select
   Order tab and then check Random Order?.
