If you are using WP Pagination, then unfortunately no.
By definition, random means… random – so every single time you load a new page a random question will be grabbed. Because of the nature of random, this means that you will get repeat questions.
As the Randomize Question Order option says:
Please note that randomizing the questions is NOT possible if the below WP Pagination feature is being used.
If random is something you absolutely need, then I recommend not using WP Pagination and instead enabling “Paginate” for each of your questions. Paginate can be found by editing a question on the “extra” tab. This will not create literally new pages, but will instead hide each question until a “next” button is selected by the user.
Thank you for your answer, it’s still not what I need, but I think it’s not possible in this quiz for my purpose, although is a easy quizz to make.
Hello, I changed the quiz and followed the instructions :
“then I recommend not using WP Pagination and instead enabling “Paginate” for each of your questions. Paginate can be found by editing a question on the “extra” tab. This will not create literally new pages, but will instead hide each question until a “next” button is selected by the user.”
I have enabled the Paginate button at every question, but every question appaers directly after another. (no “next” button I translated ut in Dutch)
What do I wrong Look at http://www.mextvmuziekquiz.nl (only 5 questions at the moment)
Thank you!
It’s working for me.
I think you just need to clear your browser cache 🙂
