# RE-install theme

 * Hi,
 * I would like to know if it is possible to re-install a theme after having made
   a lot of settings?
    Is a way to save this part of work and to re-install the 
   same theme? For example, if I select Storefront for while and I re-install my
   theme, will I find all settings again by activating it after?

 * Most good themes (read most, not all) will have their own names for their settings,
   and will be saving them in the database so they aren’t removed when the theme
   is de-activated unless you tell it to remove those settings.
 * I haven’t seen how the Storefront theme works, but knowing that WooCommerce has
   a setting for data removal, I’d think that their main theme wodl be similar, 
   so it should keep all of the settings.
 * Having said that, I can’t guarantee that it will, so if you’re at all concerned
   do a complete backup of the site before you make any big changes like that. That
   way you’ll be able to revert to the existing site if anything happens that you
   weren’t expecting.
