    Hello,

Before installing this plugin I prefer to ask those 2 questions to be sure it does what I need: I have about 70 posts in 7 categories and I need to have a specific and different custom order for each category.

    – is this possible with this plugin?
    – what happens when de-activating and removing the plugin if I later change my mind for instance? will I get back the original post order (the chronological way they are currently listed under “posts” in my dashboard)?

    Thanks in advance!

    Great, many thanks!
Will check this out further – looks very promising.

I need to point out though, for anyone planning for whatever reason to deactivate this plugin and then reactivate it later on to use it again, upon deactivation, all of your order structure will be gone and will reset to default order, and you will have to start ordering posts again from scratch. Backing up your database is therefore mandatory!

on deactivation, the plugin deletes the custom table where the custom order are stored. Backing up just that table would be sufficient.

Maybe in a subsequent version I could introduce a an options in the settings to retain the table on deactivation.

Yep that would be a great feature!
