Do you have any backups from your hosting provider?
WPEngine, SiteGround, etc should all have some sort of general backup daily or weekly you could tap into here.
We (SiteGround) do have daily copies of every account we host so if you’re with us, opening a ticket could save the day (or a direct restore from the cPanel tool).
Hi guys, ‘fraid not, I’m currently still at my old provider. I’ll check if they made a backup, who knows.
I have been digging a bit further into this. I do see all events, you can check at http://blevley.zwankhuizen.com, but they’re all pointing to http://blevley.zwankhuizen.com/?post_type=page&p=6, which leads back to the original page.
I added a new event which gets an url: http://blevley.zwankhuizen.com/events/testetest/, which works.
The events are not visible in Events Manager, also not as trashed items.
So it does look like there is a some flag or field that has been altered, I just can’t figure out (yet) which one.
The site was in an open beta and would be moved in 1 or 2 weeks. Since I’m the only one working on it, and I know what I’m doing, the lack of a decent strategy regime didn’t bother me much. I just moved a client to Siteground and am impressed with their support, probably going to go with them.
Oh well, s**t happens ;-). It looks like I have to reenter all events, maybe I’ll do a complete reinstall to make sure it’s as clean as possible.
Do you guys have an import function laying around somewhere, that would help me immensely.
Thanks for a great plug-in and keep up the good work, I’ve tried a lot of event plug-ins, but this one is one of the best for my purposes. Especially when I can add bands/performers, but I’ll work on that after everything is up and running again.
Sorry, there’s no import facility available at the moment.
Glad you’re enjoying the plugin.
