# Read before bumping !

 * A post that does not have a reply has the topic in **bold type**. This makes 
   it very easy for those of us looking to help.
    You may think that because your
   post has fallen off the front page that it is destined to be ignored forevermore–
   this is not the case. I and others regularly trawl back to find posts that for
   whatever reason have not been answered, and having the bold topic title means
   we can find your post easier. _A bold title helps us to help you_.
 * But if you just bump it, you are removing the best way of getting help aren’t
   you ?
 * If you are going to bump it, then at the very least add more information – maybe
   the first post went unanswered because there wasn’t enough ?
 * If your problem is urgent, then use IRC:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/IRC](http://codex.wordpress.org/IRC)
 * And do NOT start additional threads.
 * [This post is not in direct response to any single thread. It is being made because
   bumping causes more bumping .. ]
