# Reader Comments

 * I get emails from WP saying I have comments waiting for approval. I don’t understand
   this, because I removed/disabled Comments years ago. Can you please tell me how
   people are commenting? I’d rather hear from them directly, which is why on my
   menu bar, I have “Send a note” that links to my email address.
 * What can WP do? What can I do?

    I can see that you have a dummy post here: [https://www.davidallanvan.com/2018/08/](https://www.davidallanvan.com/2018/08/)
   It is maybe what people is finding and leaving a comment. Seems that you are 
   not using blog posts, so on your dashboard you can go to “POSTS” and delete all
   dummy posts there. So you might not receive comments anymore. I hope it works.
