# Reading Plugin Information before Installing

 * I thought, given the popularity of NextGen Gallery as a plugin and the unfortunate
   instability of V2.0, that it might be timely to bring up an issue that spans 
   the Installation/Troubleshooting/Plugin forums.
 * That is to encourage potential plugin users to:
    1. Properly read the WP version
   requirements, compatibility and other information given in the right side-panel;
   2. Visit the plugin support forum and read any sticky post created there which
   may give clues to compatibility/incompatibility with other plugins; and 3. Repeat
   1. and 2. before updating either WP core or any installed plugins.
