I activated really simple ssl and got an error after activation because now it loads from an empty https folder. How can I fix or revert?

This is because your hosting provider does not have a symbolic link in the https folder to the http folder. As a consequence, your site only loads an empty directory when loaded over https. Your site exists only in the http folder.

Your hosting provider can fix this quickly for you.
