# ReCAPTCHA issues – marking legitimate submissions as SPAM

 * Hello,
 * I’m getting the
 *     ```wp-block-code
       An error has occurred while sending your form. Try again later.
       ```
   
 * response message when trying to send my forms. I’ve been watching the dev console
   and the json “feedback” says:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       "status": "spam"
       ```
   
 * I’ve tried lowering the ReCAPTCHA threshold with the code snippet in CF7’s website,
   to no avail.
 * Disabling the ReCAPTCHA integration lets form messages through, but this is not
   ideal for obvious reasons.
 * Can you please help?
