 * Thanks for the link Kafkaesqui. I searched and came across this particular widget:

 * However, after downloading it, uploading to my site’s plugin directory and going
   to activate it, I realized the latest (well almost latest, I have to upgrade 
   now to 2.6 so I have something right below 2.6) version has its own show recent
   comments feature. I just activated it on my site: imconvooftheday.com.
 * But thanks to your suggestion, I did come across this:

 * I’d like to download and install that so my visitors can stay subscribed to comments
   on the convos they are interested in.
 * This topic actually led me to get to explore the whole widget thing so thanks.
 * Now to just figure out how to get a category called Authors on my sidebar which
   lists the names of the Authors and the number of posts they have put up so visitors
   can browse by authors too.
