@dvharrison can you please ask your hosting provider for a php error log from when the critical error happened ? We could not reproduce the issue on our end.
I’ve got the same issue on multiple sites. A Rollback to 3.1.17 (https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/strong-testimonials.3.1.17.zip fixes it for now.
The PHP error log didn’t show any error (various hosts), neither did the debug.log with WP_DEBUG enabled, so I ended up using the Query Monitor plugin to get an error on my screen:

Thank you @josklever my clients website just had a critical error due to this update, when I rolled back to 3.1.17 its working again.
I hope they can get this figured out, looking for a new solution for my client.
Critical error on my site as well. I manually updated to Version 3.1.19 and the front end had the critical error, Admin area still available. When I disable the plugin the site is available again.
Not sure if it helps, but when the site was down, I went to edit a different plugin’s code through the Plugin File Editor. When I saved, I got this message:
Your PHP code changes were not applied due to an error on line 21 of file wp-content/plugins/strong-testimonials/includes/elementor/class-strong-testimonials-elementor-widget-activation.php. Please fix and try saving again
My site is using Elementor. Not sure if this is helpful.
Hello,
We’re pleased to inform you that a fix has been identified and is now available in the newly released version 3.1.20.
Thank you, @dvharrison, @anxiousminds, @nomadr, @ncheatham and @josklever for your reports and continued patience.
Wishing you a great day,
Teo
It’s solved here. Thanks!
