Recent Posts Dropdown

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me. I’m sure the solution is really quite simple. I want to create a dropdown for all recent posts (10 or 15) which will be in the sidebar. I am using widgets… Is there any quick and easy way to do this? Thanks in advance.
