# Recent posts inside page

 * Ok so i have set the homepage to display a static page, but i want that static
   page to include the most recent post or a random post. So you have the static
   page text at the top and then under it is what would normally be the recent posts
   list or random post. Except only showing 1. Hope that makes sense. thanks
