After Major Update, Recents post shown all the time Undefined and when we want to reorder category posts, all the time we reset category order and reordering from begin. If you have for example 30-40 category and increasing and if you have between 50-100 posts at each category, it’s giving pain. When we reset, undefined posts shown. but after then new posts if added on category, again the same problem is happening.

    I still have this issue.

We’ve updated from v1.8.x to 2.4.3 and our client had troubles with missing products, so we saw the upgrade guide fro 2.x and reset all the WooCommerce Categories to the default order.

There are no posts missing anymore, but some categories now have 2 “undefined” products.

You can sort everything just fine, if the “undefined” products are not on the re-order page. But when you view all products (or if the undefined products are visible on the re-order page). The changes are no longer saved, and reflected to the front-end.

    We are currently running v2.5.8

    when you view all products

what do you mena by this? are you display a taxonomy archive for given product category term?

In which case, did you read the FAQ #10? There is a bug in WP which prevents the archive taxonomy order to be displayed properly ranked. So you need to follow the isntructions in FAQ #10 if this is your case.

but some categories now have 2 “undefined” products.

    even after resetting them?

I am assuming the above issue is resolved and marking this as such.
