# recent products shortcode bug?

 * If I use the shortcode [featured_products per_page=”6″ columns=”6″] it displays
   fine (1 row with 6 columns) but if I change it to [recent_products per_page=”
   6″ columns=”6″] to show recent products it displays 3 columns by 2 rows and only
   spans halfway across. I tried using [recent_products per_page=”8″ columns=”4″]
   but then displays 2 columns by 4 rows and still only spans halfway across.
 * It used to be fine so I assume a recent update to WC or WP is causing this bug?
   I’m running latest versions of WC and WP.

 * Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or [Storefront](http://www.woothemes.com/storefront/),
   and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then
   slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

 * I switched to 2016 theme and the bug went away so it seems to be something with
   my theme.

 * That’s what it sounds like. The theme must be interferring with the query.
 * You’ll need to contact the theme authors about this.
